The HC217w connects easily to your home or office WiFi network. It can operate on rechargeable battery power for short-term use or remain plugged into AC power for continuous 24/7 monitoring. During the day, the camera records in full color. At night, it automatically switches to black-and-white infrared night vision using invisible no-glow sensors for low-light visibility without drawing attention.

In addition to live streaming, you can enable motion detection alerts to receive notifications when activity is detected. Video can also be recorded to a microSD card for local storage, and playback can be accessed remotely through the mobile app.

You can even mix and match this with many of our other WiFi hidden cameras and monitor multiple rooms or even multiple locations all conveniently in the same free app, which is available for iOS and Android devices.
