How do these battery powered cameras last for so long?
The "secret" to the long battery life in these cameras is a combination of two factors. The first is a very high-capacity battery. The sceond is the advanced "body heat activated" motion detection system. Rather than the camera always having to be on waiting to detect movement, the camera remains in standby mode while the body-heat sensor does the detection duties. Once body heat is detected, the sensor "wakes up" the camera, which then starts recording.
